Dubai
Downtown towers, Marina evenings, and a desert night outside the city — Dubai is the Gulf stop that rewards a short, focused city break.
Dubai works best as a four-to-six-night city break: Downtown for Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall corridor, Marina or JBR when you want beach walks after meetings or museums, and one evening in the desert for dunes and dinner under clearer skies.
Winter (roughly November to March) is the comfortable outdoor season. Summer heat is real — plan malls, pools, and early starts, and keep outdoor desert trips for cooler months unless you book late-evening slots.
Metro and Dubai Marina tram cover the spine of the city; taxis and ride-hailing fill the gaps. For a first trip, stay in one base rather than hopping hotels. Add Abu Dhabi as a day trip only if you already have a spare full day.
Tourison tip: lock Downtown or Marina nights and one city-break package first, then add the London–Dubai flight when dates firm up. Related deals below cover the city tour, stays, inbound London flights, and Dubai–Bangkok as a Gulf hub hop.
